OLD STUFFTapping his fingers on the hard wooden surface, he sat and watched the loading icon continue to circle amidst the center of the page. This was taking forever! After what seemed like an eternity of waiting, the uncooperative computer finally logged on. "Program Error" was all that was displayed on the screen. Finally deciding that his efforts were futile, the boy turned his attention to his notebook instead, which was laying idly by the keyboard. Casually flipping through the worn, and used pages, until he came to a fresh page near the end of the book. He made a mental note to buy another new one. Fiddling with his eraser in one hand, he began writing. "It was a dark and stormy night " How cliche. He needed something better than that. He needed something better than good something more .something exceptional! Yes, that was it. He needed an exceptional beginning to his story. But what? What was that 'exceptional' phrase ?
